Final word count (after the inevitable word-reduction by the automated word counter doohickey):  51,084

Word count according to Scrivener and Microsoft Word:  51,213

Either way:  Yay, me!

Panic, panic! It’s the end!

Ok.  Really, I am fine on my Nanowrimo count and will not have a problem slinking across the 50k line this year.  Woohoo!

Currently, I am at 49,119 words.  I need 881 more.  Fortunately, I think I can cover that small amount before midnight tonight.

For those of you who are still writing:  don’t give up!  You can still continue to write AFTER the deadline–even though you won’t “win” for Nanowrimo, you can still prove to yourself that you have the ability to do the work!  Keep on clicking at the keys…
